Indications:
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID); Used in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis and used for musculoskeletal disorders, dysmenorrhea, and postoperative pain
Dosage:
Adult – 20 to 40 mg daily in divided doses
Mechanism of Action:
Functions based on reversible inhibition of cyclooxygenase, causing the peripheral inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis
Side Effects:
Bloating, black tarry stools, nausea, cloudy urine
