Indications:
Used in susceptible strains of urinary tract, pharyngeal, and skin infections
Dosage:
Adult – 500 to 2000 mg (maximum) daily in divided doses
Mechanism of Action:
Antibacterial from the Cephalosporin class; functions by disrupting bacterial cell membrane
Side Effects:
General abdominal discomfort, and Dyspepsia
