Albendazole

Indications:
Anthelmintic

Dosage:
Adult – 400 mg to 800 mg per day

Mechanism of Action:
Active metabolite, albendazole sulfoxide, causes selective degeneration of cytoplasmic microtubules in intestinal and tegmental cells of intestinal helminths and larvae

Side Effects:
Headache; Gastrointestinal Disturbances
