Indications:
Antihistamine; Used to treat allergy and cold symptoms, Also used to treat motion sickness
Dosage:
Adult – 25 to 50 mg every 6-8 hours
Paediatric – 12.5 to 25 mg every 6-8 hours
Mechanism of Action:
Compete with histamine for receptor sites; hence reduce allergic reaction
Side Effects:
Sedation and thickening of bronchial secretions
